Film Friday Film Club

Film Friday Film Club is out of action due to refurbishment work at Taigh Chearsabhagh until May.

In the meantime we are hosting two screenings in collaboration with the Celtic Media Festival at Lochmaddy Hall on the 14th & 15th of April.

Film Friday screenings

We aim to screen the best in indie, arthouse and documentary film (supported where possible with local/scottish short films) – everything that doesn’t get on the Screen Machine –  in Taigh Chearsabhagh’s Studio 1 Cinema.

We have just installed a brand new HD projector, screen and surround audio setup playing HD and Blu-ray media that has been designed to knock your cinematic socks off!

Previous screenings have included Slumdog Millionaire, Man on Wire, Age of Stupid, The Big Lebowski, Andy Goldsworthy Rivers & Tides, Little Miss Sunshine, The Rocket Post ……

Put the 2nd Friday of each month in your diary.

Doors open 7pm – refreshments & chat.

Screenings start at 7.30pm prompt

Pay on the door – £5 FULL PRICE, £4 CONCESSIONS

What films do you want to see?

We want your ideas for future screenings. Send us your top 3 suggestions for the coming season. Films must be available on DVD/Blu-ray within the next 6 months.

Potential films will be posted on the Film Friday Facebook page and the most ‘liked’ slotted into the next available screening slot.
